The Board of Commissioners meets every month to discuss and act upon business brought before the board. All board meetings are open to the public. Normally, we meet at 8:00am on the third Thursday each month at the Utopia Fire Station, subject to posted changes.

Much like other government meetings, there are procedures to follow. The public is invited to come and observe the proceedings and there is a limited time set aside at the beginning of the meeting for public comments pertaining to agenda items. Any person that has registered to do so, prior to the start of the meeting, may have a limited time to make a public comment. Board members will not interact with you during this time (this is not a question and answwer session). Likewise, the public will not interact with the Board during the remainder of the meeting.

Texas Law requires this ESD to post the Meeting Location, Date, Time, and Agenda on the Texas Secretary of State (SOS) website, at the meeting location, and submit to the County Clerk of the four counties, more than 72 hours before the meeting start date and time.
 
The posting at the meeting location is on the outside of the main entrance door of the Utopia Fire Station.
The meeting information is submitted to each county clerk for their posting at their designated locations.
